Bio:
Dori Fern is a lifelong New Yorker. She grew up in Co-op City in the Bronx and has lived in Brooklyn for over 25 years. She loves New York City deeply, even when there are plenty of reasons to complain about it. She cooks with great joy most nights but does not prefer to do the dishes.
Seeking the unexpected, Dori took a yearlong work sabbatical starting in 2021, which ended with a professional coaching certification from iPEC in 2023. She also has a culinary degree from the Institute of Culinary Education.
A drama graduate from the High School of Performing Arts ("the Fame school")and long-ago Bronx champion of the NYC Storytelling Contest, Dori’s life has been a long pursuit of compelling narratives that best serve those who tell them.
