Energy Leadership Index™ (ELI) Assessment + Debrief

Discover your unique energetic profile

What’s your go-to energy level and how well is it serving you?
All my coaching engagements start with the Energy Leadership Index™ (ELI) Assessment and Debrief.

The ELI Assessment is a powerful tool designed to help you understand how your energetic profile shapes your perceptions, decisions, and interactions. Unlike personality assessments like Myers-Briggs, DISC, or Enneagrams which categorize you based on personality traits, the ELI provides a dynamic, attitudinal view of your energy. It highlights how your current mindset and patterns of response impact your ability to lead, connect, and thrive.

Wheel showing the iPEC 7 Levels of Energy with a descriptive word for each energy level

The ELI explores seven levels of energy, each representing a different way of experiencing and reacting to the world. The graphic above highlights these levels, which range from catabolic (draining) to anabolic (constructive) states:

  • Level 1: Victim – an energy marked by fear and helplessness.

  • Level 2: Fighter – an energy of conflict, marked by anger or resistance.

  • Level 3: Rationalizer – focused on coping and getting by.

  • Level 4: Helper – prioritizing compassion and support for others.

  • Level 5: Opportunist – seeking win-win solutions and growth.

  • Level 6: Connector – experiencing synergy and a sense of flow.

  • Level 7: Creator – tapping into pure potential and creation.

What Distinguishes the ELI and Why it Matters

The ELI isn’t about labeling or typing; it’s about recognizing where your energy flows or becomes blocked and understanding how these levels shift based on your internal and external experiences. Here’s what makes the ELI unique:

  1. Attitude vs. Traits: While traditional assessments help you understand stable aspects of who you are, the ELI measures your current energetic attitudes and mindset —which can change with new perspectives and choices.

  2. Dynamic Insights: Personality tests provide a snapshot of traits, but the ELI shows how your energy levels vary in different situations, especially under stress, offering a more nuanced and adaptable view.

  3. Actionable Awareness: The ELI isn’t just self-knowledge—it’s a framework for transformation. By understanding how you experience each energy level, you’ll see practical opportunities to shift toward more empowering, productive states.

What to Expect from the 90-Minute ELI Debrief

The ELI Assessment should take you about 20 minutes to complete. After, you’ll schedule a 90-minute debrief session for us to explore your results. This session is designed to help you make sense of your energy patterns and see how they support or inhibit the life and work you aspire to. Here’s what the debrief includes:

  • Personalized Breakdown of Your Results: We’ll look at your unique energy profile, exploring how your energy is distributed across the seven levels and how this impacts your daily interactions and responses.

  • Real-Life Applications: In the debrief process, we’ll connect your ELI results to areas of your life that matter most to you, making the insights directly relevant and actionable in your personal and professional world.

  • A Foundational Roadmap for Growth: The debrief lays the groundwork for understanding how your energy is—or isn’t—working in service of your goals and the life you want to create. It’s a reflective tool, helping you see where intentional shifts can help you lead a more purposeful, effective life.
