I coach women founders and executives to connect with their inner wisdom and move forward to the next stage of their life and careers with confidence, clarity, and an opportunity mindset.
even in these wild, unpredictable times.
Are you…
drowning in fear, desperation, and doubt after a layoff from your high-powered job?
building a small business or non-profit and feeling uncertain, isolated, and overwhelmed?
turning a milestone age and wondering “What’s next?” or “Is this it?”
stuck and unsure how to best position yourself for career growth or a pivot, especially during these chaotic times?
not making time for creativity, but want to?
Hello! I’m Dori.
About Me
On the cusp of my 40th birthday, I made the first of many major life changes and professional leaps that now define my unique portfolio career and how I move through the world.
After a decade as a part-time freelance writer and full-time stay-at-home mom, I landed an amazing full-time job at AOL.
I was hired to produce Chief Everything Officers: Women Who Do It All and Do It Well, an early-stage social media contest platform sponsored by Dove. That program’s unexpected, unprecedented success led to my appointment as AOL’s first food and lifestyle programming lead.
This was the first step on my path to a thriving career as a Content Director and Strategist for publishers, agencies, and brands. My achievements include:
Partnering on the development of an innovative content strategy framework for Novartis, adopted by 100% of the pharma brand’s marketing team in year one
Building a robust, integrated product and content marketing operation from nothing for B2B tech brand, Neustar (a TransUnion company), driving 200+% growth over four years
Initiating an extensive audit on the Kraft Foods “Food & Family” recipe newsletter that revealed significant opportunities for optimization and growth
Developing an inventive contributor network for Martha Stewart Living, leading up to their successful acquisition by Dotdash Meredith
Creating effective, growth-driving content strategies for countless brands across industries, from pharma to CPG, tech to financial services, and beyond
But perhaps my biggest leap was taking a yearlong sabbatical from my successful content marketing leadership career.
My goal: Reshape my next chapter with greater intention and impact. I wanted to build a creative practice and serve my NYC community.
I saved my money, planned, and leapt.
Among other things, I launched a podcast about the ‘messy middle’ of my life-changing transition and worked with local food organizations. Did I mention I’m also a culinary-school-trained chef?
And I became an ICF-certified Leadership Coach.

makes false promises
I don’t know if you’ll get that dream job, find true love, or make a million dollars** Maybe! I do stand by this: If you commit the time, effort, and practice, you will start to see your story differently, experience more clarity and confidence about what’s in your control to change, ACTUALLY MAKE CHANGES, and feel a greater sense of ease.
** I would make a truly terrible guru or cult leader
gives you The Full Woo
I’m a coach. It would be disingenuous to promise No Woo (see ‘false promises’ above). There may be discoveries that make you feel and say things you once might have cringed at! But it is possible to experience deep, metaphysical change sans clichéd slogans and superficial memes.
